• When the insured chooses not to replace their equipment - This isn’t necessarily a problem unless the insured was to report another claim. Consider that the same cables and wires from the first claim may still be in the vehicle. This potentially forces you to settle a claim that has no merit.

• The insured does replace the system, but with less expensive equipment - If the equipment is installed with the same cables and wires from their first system the next time a claim is filed, it could be misrepresented as more expensive components.

• The insured installs the new system into a completely different vehicle - Again, This is not a problem unless they were to report another claim. Consider that the same cables and wires from the first claim will still be in the original vehicle, potentially forcing you to settle a claim that has no merit.
